My 11 year old daughter enjoyed working through two of the kits so far! We love how all the needed supplies are included, even a clear zipper pouch to hold all the items. Many different felt colors are provided so you can customize the look of the stuffies. Note that you follow the digital pattern through the Ribblr platform (not a hard copy paper pattern) - my daughter enjoyed checking off each row (by clicking it) when she was done working that section. There are helpful videos that you can reference all throughout the pattern. The yarn included in the kits (Lazy Days Yarn) is great for beginners as it does not split easily - we recommend winding the yarn into balls to make it easier to crochet with. It was my daughter’s first time using glue and felt to add details to amigurumi, and she enjoyed learning how to do this. She loves how her adorable ice cream axolotl turned out! These kits would make great gifts for those wanting to dive into the world of amigurumi and crochet!
My little ones really enjoyed helping make Cookie Turtle Tim and have been happily playing with him since! The instructions were very easy to follow and the videos along the way are helpful! Having everything needed for the project come in one kit made it stress free!
I made Boba Cow Charlie with my 6 year old and it turned out great! I crocheted the pieces while she did all the cutting, gluing and stuffing! The instructions are very detailed and written clearly for a beginner. I loved that they were also written in a more advanced option as well, perfect for those who are already used to crocheting. Photos are included throughout the steps and video tutorials as well, which is great if you are a visual learner. It's fun that the kits include extra pieces so you can customize your character! The yarn is also great quality!
I purchased this for my daughter as a gift. She loves cows and boba, so it's a win! Crochet can be so therapeutic and relaxing - just what a college student needs! I can't wait to see the results!
Have not made the Boba Cow as it is going to be a gift for a boba loving friend. However, I did open the package to take a peak and I'm very impressed with the materials included in that kit. I know this will be enjoyed and provide some fun. Looking forward to gifting Charlie!
