I really like this yarn. It’s a little heavier weight, fluffy with good body and twist. Easy to work either for knit or crochet. I started working on a knit poncho. I’m also working on a crochet cardigan sweater. These are in Sea Glass, and I look forward to finishing so I can try other colors!
In very pleased the way this yarn worked up for the table runner and it washed up nicely also
One of our FAVOURITE worsted weight yarns! We appreciate the muted tones and soft & suppleness of the yarn. So squishy and easy to work with. Also, with this acrylic yarn, we love the ease of care for finished products - washer/dryer safe! We love that they offer colours that aren’t bright & bold & IN YOUR FACE!
We primarily use the “Heather” yarns for crocheting our false wasp nests - and they look SO REAL!! @meganalanacc
This is not a fancy yarn. It is a good bones everyday yarn which has pretty consistent quality for the price. The variety of colors is good, but the number which may be discontinued or unavailable is sometimes disappointing. I did get a little splitting here and there, but nothing I found to be a fault of the yarn, perhaps my technique. So far I have used it for crochet and not knit, so I won't speak to that. Like many yarns of this quality, some colors/dyes make the yarn stiffer and bulkier than others, which I did notice slightly in the size of my afghan pieces. But it was not enough to negatively effect the finished project. Perhaps my favorite thing about this yarn is that It is a great yarn to donate my leftovers to Project Linus, as I must keep my stash in check and seldom want to use the same yarn for a different project - this way I know it gets put to excellent use for a good cause.
