RIGHT WINGS
Using larger hook and A, make 9ch, join with ss into a ring.
1st row (RS) 3ch, 7dc in ring, turn. 8 sts.
2nd row 3ch, 1dc in each of next 2 sts, 2dc in each of next 3 sts, 1dc in next st, 1dc in top ch of 3ch. 11 sts.
3rd row 3ch, 1dc in each of next 3 sts, 2tr in next st, 1dc in each of next 2 sts, 2ch, ss in next st, 2ch, 2dc in next st, 2tr in next st, 1tr in top ch of 3ch. 15 sts.
4th row 3ch, 1dc in next st, 2tr in next st, 1dc in next st, 1sc in next st, ss in top ch of 2ch. 6 sts. Fasten off.
5th row Join B in same ch as ss, 3ch, 1dc in each of next 2 sts, 2dc in next st, 1tr in next st, 2-st tr dec in next st and top ch of 3ch.
Fasten off.
Next row RS facing, join B in first dc of 3rd row, 1ch, 1sc in each of next 2 sts, 2sc in each of next 3 sts, 1sc in next st, ss in top ch of 2ch.

LEFT WINGS
RS facing, join A in ring.
1st row 3ch, 7dc in ring, turn. 8 sts.
2nd row 3ch, 1dc in next st, 2dc in each of next 3 sts, 1dc in each of next 2 sts, 1dc in top ch of 3ch. 11 sts.
3rd row 4ch, 2tr in next st, 2dc in next st, 2ch, ss in next st, 2ch, 1dc in each of next 2 sts, 2tr in next st, 1dc in each of next 3 sts, 1dc in top ch of 3ch. Fasten off.
4th row With WS facing, rejoin A in top ch of 2ch of upper wing, 1ch, 1sc in first st, 1dc in next st, 2tr in next st, 1dc in next st, making last wrap with B. 1dc in top ch of 4ch. Continue with B.
5th row 3ch, 1tr in each of next 2 sts, 2dc in next st, 1dc in each of next 2 sts, 2ch, ss in 1ch.
Fasten off.
Next row RS facing, join B in top ch of 2ch of lower wing, 1ch, 1sc in next st, 2sc in each of next 3 sts, 1sc in each of next 3 sts, ss in last st.
Fasten off.

EDGING
Using smaller hook and B, working into one strand of A only, ss along edges of upper and lower wings.

BODY
Using larger hook and B, make 5ch, miss 1ch, ss in each of next 4ch, make 4ch, 3-st tr cluster in top ch of 5ch, 3ch, miss 2ch, 1sc in next ch.
Fasten off.

FINISHING
Close center and press to shape. Attach body and, using B, make antennae.
Using B, embroider a spot on each upper wing.
