Awesome but…..

Ok so I made a gorgeous poncho out of it. This yarn feels like heaven it’s so soft. It drapes beautifully. BUT, if you need to start another skein, not knot will hold. I tried a box knot and a surgeons knot. It’s like trying to knot jello it’s so slinky. So I’m hoping my poncho doesn’t just unravel when I wear it somewhere. I’d buy again but still worried about unraveling

When attaching a new skein of yarn, espeically in a slippery plant fiber yarn like this, we recommend leaving a 5-7' tail on both ends to weave in, rather than trying knots. Knots can come undone and leave a hole in your work, which no one wants!, but by weaving in a tail of yarn you've got a little bit of warning. When that tail starts to poke out of the fabric you can weave it back into the project before it comes completely undone.

Amazing Stitch Definition and so Soft!

It is such a pleasure to work with this yarn; the stitch definition is wonderful and it is very soft, smooth and has great drape!

Softest Yarn I've Ever Used. My New Favorite!

This Botanic yarn is incredibly soft, has a slight shine to it and is a joy to crochet with. It's really difficult to find yarns that won't become fuzzy with use, but this yarn does the trick. It's so soft that I have to wrap it around my pinky 2-3x to maintain tension when crocheting, as there is ZERO drag on my skin. End projects are a little heavy, but in an expensive and high quality way.

It didn't lose the shiny texture when I miscounted my stitches and needed to pull out several rows to re-work them, which was such a relief as this project was a gift.
The strands do separate every once in a while, but for the end product payoff, I can deal with that.

Lyocell is often referred to as "the sister of silk" and I could not agree more. I've already purchased a dozen more skeins in cream and goldenrod, and plan on purchasing even more in the future.

Praying this yarn doesn't ever get discontinued. I think I would cry.

Extremely soft

This yarn is a sensory delight! So smooth and soft, a little heavy for its weight. Making a tank top for my daughter and occasionally get distracted just petting the yarn. There is a soft sheen. I'm loving crocheting with it!
The one small downside is that it tends toward splitting, so if that is a major peeve of yours, then avoid.
Picture using Walnut, Dragonfly, and Frost colorways.

Super soft yarn!

This yarn is very soft and silky, which makes it nice for garments! It was splitting some, but wasn't too bad. Overall, I love this yarn!

I'm first, so here it goes. I just received 12 skeins of the olive color in the mail yesterday, and is a beautiful green. It's a tencel lyocell yarn, which is a different kind of rayon yarn. I think I'm going to use it for a crocheted short ruana or an overhead vest or top. The yardage is shorter than usual, so this will be a great experiment. I'm going to get more in the salmon color if this goes well.
