Stitchfinder: Crochet Trim: Pyramids Braid

Skill level: Intermediate 

Make a foundation chain of the required length, or work row 1 directly into the item to be trimmed with right side facing. 

(multiple of 6 + 1 stitches) 

Note: dtr (double treble crochet - Yarn over hook three times, insert hook in stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, (yo and draw through two loops on hook) 4 times. 

Row 1: 1 ch, 1 sc in each st or position to end, turn. 
Row 2: 1 ch, 1 sc in first st *6 ch, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in next ch, 1 hdc in next ch, 1 dc in next ch, 1 tr in next ch, 1 dtr in last of the 6 ch, skip 5 ch on row 1, 1 sc in next sc, rep from * to end. Fasten off.
