MOTIF 4: Circle in the Square 
Ch 8, sl st in beg ch to form a ring. 
Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), work 15 dc in ring, join with sl st in top of beg ch-3 -- 16 dc. 
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st, sc in each of next 3 dc, ch 2, (sc in each of next 4 dc, ch 2) around, join with sl st in beg sc -- 4 ch-2 sps. 
Rnd 3:Ch 1, sc in same st, sc in each of next 3 sc, 5 sc in next ch-2 sp, (sc in each of next 4 sc, 5 sc in next ch-2 sp) around, join with sl st in beg sc. Fasten off.
